Darla was purchased from Pintado Australian Shepherds located in Niagara Falls Canada. She was originally purchased as a showdog and ended up not turning out. At the time we were living near my family. My sister fell in love with her and when she was about three years old Darla moved with my sister to Germany. Years later when my sister was involved in a divorce and could no longer keep her, Darla returned and lived with us ever since.

In July of 2006 Darla developed congestive heart failure.  In April 2007 the vet advised that her heart was struggling so and that she would not improve.  She was having much trouble breathing so with a sad heart we let her cross the bridge where she could be a young girl again.  We miss you Darla.
